Pam Collins is a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and Bioidentical Hormone Specialist, as well as the owner of Tangled Minds and her new branch Tangled Minds Hormones for Health. She has over four decades of nursing experience, blending Eastern and Western practices to provide holistic, integrative care that addresses the mind and body.

More recently Pam recognized that many women were not receiving the comprehensive hormone support they needed often leading to increased stress and anxiety. Recognizing a significant gap in care for hormonal health among her clients, Pam recently integrated bioidentical hormone replacement therapy (BHRT) into Tangled Minds. To enhance her expertise, Pam obtained specialized training in BHRT through the Bioidentical Hormone Training Academy and the Menopause Association, equipping her to offer tailored treatment plans that address hormonal imbalances effectively.
As a certified Ayurvedic Health Practitioner (AHP), and Functional Lifestyle Practitioner (FNLP), Pam takes a proactive approach to health and wellness that emphasizes the significance of lifestyle practices. These lifestyle choices, such as nutrition, sleep, exercise and stress management are foundational to achieving optimal health and well-being and delaying the onset of aging. These lifestyle foundations are the core of Roots to Renewal. By focusing on these elements, Pam empowers her clients to take control of their health. Her belief is that we all will grow old but we need to do it well.
As a Yoga Therapist , she incorporates mindfulness, meditation, yoga nidra, and other therapeutic interventions into her treatment plans. These modalities are designed to address stress.
Ongoing stress damages cells in the body, increases inflammation which can lead to various health issues such as immune system issues, heart problems, high blood pressure, physical aches and pains, fatigue to name a few. So, managing stress is crucial for health and wellbeing.
Pam is currently deepening her knowledge plant medicine and her hobbies include falconry, bird watching and gardening.
